Hey Everybody! My name is Becca Huizenga and I am 19
years old. I live in Grand Rapids,
Michigan and I am currently going to Community College getting a degree in
business. I am crazy about music
and I love listening to literally everything; the oldies, classical, rock,
country, and sometimes rap and heavy metal. I even have my own record player,
it’s a little old school but I love it. My dream is to have a career in music
business but I am not sure if that is the right path for me yet.
I also love hanging out with friends
and family. I have a sister, 4 brothers, 2 sisters-in-law, and 2 beautiful
nephews. My family is very important to me, we always have a lot of fun together and we are always there for each other. I don’t know what I’d do without them. I have the most amazing
best friend in the whole world, we went to the same high school together and
have been inseparable ever since. She so great in fact, she is even helping me
write this bio… especially the part about her J
I love to laugh and have a good
time, I have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor and I try not to take life to
seriously. I am a sucker for old movies, especially one’s with Fred Astaire or
Audrey Hepburn, but when it comes to new movies I love anything with action or
suspense.
I grew up in a Christian home but
did not truly know what it meant to live for Christ until I was in New Jersey
for a mission trip with my youth group. Seeing people my own age have such a
passion for Christ made me realize that I was still missing something in my
life. After that trip I decided to
give my whole life to Christ, and am now excited to see where he leads me.
I cannot wait to go on this mission
trip! I have wanted to go to
Africa on a mission trip since I was a kid and I cannot wait to see what God
has in store for us and how he is going to use this group.
