Hey y’all! My name is Kaci Rackley and I am from Greenville, South Carolina. I literally just graduated from college like a week ago. That feels a little insane. 🙂 Luckily, I got to graduate from an AMAZING institution…Clemson University! God truly blessed me by allowing me to go there and letting me become part of the Clemson family. I got my undergraduate degree in psychology and the grand scheme is that I will attend Grad school in the fall and start working on getting my masters in social work. We’ll see how that goes. 🙂
Now, let’s go over the basics. I am 21 years old. I have an older sister and two younger brothers. I love my family and I know that, together, we can make it through anything. We have a basset hound who, no lie, is the most annoying dog I have ever come into contact with…but I love him regardless! My friends are the most amazing people I know. Rest assured that they will be praying for all of us on our trip. I love going to shows and seeing my favorite bands play. I am a firm believer in the idea that music changes things. Now for the not-so-basics….
Likes: JESUS, 2 percent milk, One Tree Hill (only seasons 1-6), hiking to waterfalls, TOMS, hugs, guitar or drum breakdowns, lemon pie, chivalry, bookstores, my chacos, going to the dentist, burt’s bees chapstick…
Dislikes: Alligators/crocodiles, chocolate milk, waking up to an alarm clock, public restrooms, the feeling that I get after eating at Burger king, public speaking……
Ever since the beginning of high school I felt that God had put Africa in my heart. This past summer I got to go to Bulembu, Swaziland for a little over two weeks. It was AMAZING!! It literally changed my life! It was so awesome to be able to finally go to a place that had been in my heart for such a long time….in a weird way, I felt as though I was at home. If you are super bored and want to read more about my trip and the events that led up to it, you should check this out… http://kacirackley.blogspot.com/
Anyways, I am SO very excited to meet every single one of you and see how God is working in all of your lives. I know that God is going to rock our worlds over the next few months, and I am so excited to see what all he has in store for us! I love you all already!
