Introductions.

Hey guys!  We’re so excited that you’re headed to Swaziland in January!  55 days until Training Camp!  Can you believe it?

 

I wanted to introduce myself to you since I’m showing up on your
blog page now.  I graduated college in 2002 and worked in youth
ministry for 6 years.  Then I quit my job, sold all my stuff and headed
out on the World Race where I’ve been for the past year.  I left in
October 2008, got back in September of this year and now I live in
Michigan and I’m the Director of Real Life.  That means I’ll coordinate
stuff for your trip and run things from back here in the states while
you’re on the field.  I still don’t really have any stuff, but that
makes it easy to pick up and go wherever God calls me.

 

I’ll get to meet you guys in January and I’m sure we’ll talk
before then too.  Just want to encourage you in these few weeks as you
prepare to leave.  Our God is a good God–he WILL provide for each of
you.  He’ll provide financially, he’ll take care of your families and
friends while you’re gone, He has already gone before you into Swaziland
and prepared the way there.

 

Also want to encourage you to take advantage of this blog site. 
These people will be your community while you’re on the field.  Feel
free to share prayer requests, ask each other questions, ask us
questions!  We’ll be communicating more details in the weeks leading up
to Training Camp and Launch too.

 

Know that we are praying for each of you guys and we’re SO excited
to see what the Lord does in and through you in the next few months!
