So I thought it might be helpful for you to know what I am taking with me to serve as a guide.  You have to remember that this is my list and everyone has a different one because we are all different.  Really you could go on this trip with just your passport and make it to the end.  When I went on the World Race I brought way more than i needed.  I tried to plan for every possible circumstance but what i learned was there are stores overseas where you can buy things and every possible circumstance usually never happens.  You don't need to plan for everything.  Really just take the things that you will use everyday. You don't need a billion pairs of clothes either - i plan on washing my every week, plus you get use to wearing the same thing a couple days in a row - most people there one have 1 or 2 pairs of clothes.

 

So here is my list:

6 T-shirts

3 nice shirts

2 gym shorts

2 regular shorts (one that has zip off legs)

1 dress pants 

1 jeans

7 underwear

5 pairs of socks

1 fleece

1 rain coat

1 swim suit

Hat for sun

Bathroom----------

1 towel

1 bar of soap

1 shampoo

Bed------------

Sleeping bag

Sheets - we will have beds (or at least mattresses)

Eye mask - you can swipe one off the plane ride

Journal -bring it even if you don't journal

head lamp/or flash light - very handy
